Alex is currently Creative Director at EA Montreal, a branch of Electronic Arts, the world’s largest third-party videogame developer and publisher.

His current game is on Army of Two: The 40th Day, a co-operative action title for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 which ships worldwide in January, 2010.

He is recognized as a worldwide authority and thought-leader on games, game design, and game mechanics. His public engagements are relatively rare but have achieved cult-status among games professionals for the irreverent wit, the behind-the-scenes research and reasoning, and the deeply valuable insights he is willing to share.

His partner, Anouk Bachman, is Dutch.
