Animator and Head of 3D for the Oscar nominated film “Waltz with Bashir” (Tel Aviv)

Asenath (Osi) Wald is one of Israel’s leading animation professionals.  She was the Animator and Head of 3D for Ari Folman’s multi award winning film “Waltz with Bashir”.

Asenath’s graduation film, “Pause” received Best Film Award in the International Woman’s Film Festival, Rehovat in 2007 and was selected for many other international festivals, including Festival of Animated Film, Stuttgart in 2007.

Asenath is currently working as a freelance filmmaker, animator and illustrator.  In the past year she has been developing an experimental performance combining animation and dance on stage.

Asenath graduated with honors from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in 2006.
