TAT is a group of designers and developers within Research in Motion who are famous for designing and developing visionary user interfaces.

Dan works within the innovation team that created the prototypes and design visions that used to be TAT’s marketing material. Today, the videos on the TAT YouTube channel have been viewed millions of times and have inspired people both within and outside the tech world. By combining design and storytelling, Dan has helped bring visions of digital trompe l’oeil graphics, 2D-to-3D transitions and face recognition concepts to the masses.

With more than 12 years’ experience in concept and interaction design, Dan has worked with everything from digital pens to audio-based computer games. Today, he continues to make up and mock up futuristic user interfaces together with the TAT team at Research In Motion.
