Herb Wang joined Cisco in March, 2003. He is responsible for Advisory and Business Solution for Cisco China.

Herb has worked on solution consulting for several of Cisco’s most strategic accounts including Beijing Olympics, China Customs, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), Chang An Ford and Carrefour. Herb leads the team working on Shanghai 2010 World Expo Sponsorship. He is specialized in Public Service, Large Event Management, IT Governance; Enterprise Internet Strategy, and Logistics Operation for Retail Industry.

Prior to Cisco Systems, Herb was responsible for financial systems working in Goldman Sachs Equity Market Department in the US. His primary responsibility includes system consulting and project management for financial institutions. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Herb also worked as a senior consultant for several financial institutions including CitiGroup Financial Service (Salomon Smith Barney), JP Morgan Chase and Knight Ridder, a Swiss financial service company. Herb holds a Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai Fudan University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He received his Master Degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University.
