Head of Production Resources, Lucasfilm Animation Company (Singapore)

John Sanders was appointed the Head of Production Resources at Lucasfilm Animation Singapore in November of 2006, and is responsible for all production technology required at the Singapore studio.

John has worked on over 30 feature films spread across nearly a decade in the field of computer generated animation and visual effects, and most recently he has worked on the Clone Wars Animated TV Series, launch of the Games group in Singapore for both Handheld and Gen3 titles, and work by the Digital Artist Group for ILM (Industrial Light & Magic). His passion lies in working closely with production teams to understand the unique technology needs and challenges of each project and the facility as a whole, then formulating workflows and putting in place the necessary technology infrastructure that enables the creative teams to achieve their vision in the most efficient manner possible.

Before joining Lucasfilm, John worked at Sony Pictures Imageworks as the Manager of Production Services, working on a wide range of features including Spider Man 2, Polar Express, The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, Monster House, and Open Season.
