Representative Office Manager of Al Jazeera Children’s Channel

Juhaidah Joemin is the Representative Office Manager of Al Jazeera Children’s Channel, a Qatar-based Pan-Arab edutainment channel.

Based in Malaysia, Juhaidah’s key areas of responsibility include operational, marketing & communication, and business development in the Asia Pacific. She is specifically responsible for overseeing the development of the channel’s co-production projects and content development in the region.

Focusing highly on children’s programming, she work closely with production and acquisition team in Doha office in evaluating television contents, new IP creations and commissioning of programs for the company’s two channels; Baraem, a preschool channel targeting 3-6 years old audience and Al Jazeera Children’s Channel (JCC) targeting the 7-15 years old.

Prior to Al Jazeera Children’s Channel, Juhaidah has served as a senior executive with the Multimedia Development Corporation, Malaysia. Having spent over seven years with the corporation, she worked closely with the local creative industry, participated and witnessed its evolution over the years. Juhaidah’s key portfolio was an IP development project entitled Saladin; taking the roles as Project Manager and Producer. She was responsible in setting up the ground works for the project, and under her guardianship the project won several international awards and recognitions.
