ichael Stephens is a leading New Zealand Film and Entertainment Lawyer and Board Member of the Wellington NZ Film Production Studios and Digital Post Facilities for the Wingnut Group of Companies: the producers and VFX creators of the Academy Award winning “Lord of the Rings” film series.

Michael has a great professional interest in the future of East/West co-productions and funding for film and other digital media projects. Michael is currently Chairman of the NZ-Asia Pacific Film Fund, Co-Chairman of the Korean Cinerama Trust of NZ www.koreanfilmfestival.co.nz and an Honorary Adviser for the NZ/China Film Festivals.
