Nominations are open for digital entrepreneurs to workshop business ideas with the world's most successful digital visionaries and investors.

11 October 2011, Malmö – Entrepreneurs in the digital media and mobile industries will be thrilled to learn that due to popular demand, X Media Lab Sweden "Location Based Services" - which features two days of mentorship from the world's leading digital media and creative thought leaders - is back in Malmö.

X Media Lab Sweden "Location Based Services" offers an incredible opportunity for digital entrepreneurs to receive one-on-one feedback and advice about their projects and ideas from the digital industry's most influential powerbrokers, including Ralph Simon, the man who invented the ringtone and the mobile strategist for Lady Gaga, Madonna and U2.

Applications are open for digital media, internet, mobile, computer games, commercial media or creative industries entrepreneurs to submit their game-changing LBS idea or project to participate in X Media Lab Sweden.

Sixteen project teams will be chosen to participate in this exclusive workshop, with the world’s leaders in this space on hand to boost their ideas into reality.

Applicants should nominate a team of 2–6 people with the ability to talk about the creative, technical and commercial aspects of their project or idea. If chosen, the team will be one of 16 that will be able to program one-on-one consultations with the world-leading mentors over one weekend.

Previous Lab projects have included:

• Purely conceptual propositions

• Proof of concept

• Early prototyping (e.g. script, demo model, beta or wire frame level)

• Cross-platform migration (e.g. TV show to online to mobile)

• Projects seeking access to new geographical markets (e.g. localising your casual game for the SE Asian market)

Participants will be able to access the knowledge and experience of:

• Fritz Demopoulos - China Internet Pioneer, Co-founder of Qunar.com – the recipient of the largest private investment ever made in China’s internet history (Beijing)

• Kei Shimada - Founder and CEO of Infinita - Japanes Mobile Culture (Tokyo)

• Beth Coleman- Director of City as Platform/XRML Amsterdam; Harvard University Faculty Fellow at Berkman Center for the Internet and Society (Boston, Amsterdam)

• Mike Dunphy- Former Manager of the MUmobile business for Manchester United (Manchester)

• Hampus Jakobsson- Co-founder of TAT (The Astonishing Tribe) (Malmö)

• Trond Bugge- Future Media Strategist and Mobile Entrepreneur (Norway/Sweden)

• Yuri Van Geest- Entrepreneur on strategy, innovation, mobile internet and Singularity (bio-neuro-nano-AI-robots) (Amsterdam)
